Viewing/Printing Postscript and PDF Files

If you have problems viewing or printing Postscript files take a look at GhostScript/GhostView which exists on virtually all platforms (Dos, Windows, MacIntosh, Unix, VMS) and allows to print on the vast majority of printers.

The free Adobe Acrobat Reader for viewing and printing PDF files can be downloaded from Adobe. All PDF files are generated for Adobe Acrobat 3.0.

Gzipped files can be uncompressed with gzip which is available for virtually all platforms (see GNU Software page and GNU FTP repository) but also other tools know how to handle them on Wintel.
